Dhaka, Bangladesh: Garment workers demanding their pay are brutally attacked by police, July 10, 2014.
“Women workers of the apparel factories in Bangladesh are inhumanely beaten by the police at Dhaka today. They only wanted the due salary including overtime and festival bonus for upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. And that’s why police beat them ‘to save’ the owners and their profit. Neither police nor the government is for people. They are there to serve the garment factory owners.”

Iranian general says Tehran wants to help Iraq fight uprising using same tactics it deployed against rebels in Syria.
IRAN IS NOT SOME GREAT SATAN, people. Jesus Christ. It just knows how to fight.
ALL OF US….have an attachment to politics. Those who refuse to understand or take part will forever ruin the lives of others, including their own. All because they prefer to be too ignorant to know that politics runs everything and has a hand in everything. Leaving politics to only those with money, power, privileged skin color or gender will get you nothing…..YOUR PRIVILEGE WILL BE GONE SOON, then what?

In Somalia’s breadbasket, many welcome al-Shabab’s move to expel foreign aid groups and build canals.
Regardless of al-Shabab’s motives for banning NGOs and building canals, many locals have welcomed the developments. "Before, I was a beggar. Now what I produce with my two hands in my farm is sold in the markets of Mogadishu. God sent us al-Shabab to chase [out] the NGOs," said Qarawi, the sesame farmer.
Anonymous said: How do you reply to people who say, "but capitalism fuels innovation, creativity, progress etc"?
I think the correct response to such a question is that capitalism may innovate and develop the economy, but it does it unevenly and only when it is possible to a small minority of people who own production. Under capitalism, the actual worth to society has a whole is barely considered, and it certainly isn’t considered above the corporate vested interests who push the funding.
Capitalism creates all the innovation and progress that it needs to survive and thrive, but not what humanity needs to survive and thrive. In fact, capitalist productive forms limit the expansion of technology (just look at how the oil and mining companies have fought to suppress renewable energies).
This is a great answer

Society loves to portray the Black Panthers as the villains in America. They’ll only tell you that they held guns and were “militant”. The Black Panthers did many positive things for the Black Community; the Free Breakfast Program is one of them. It was designed to feed Black Children a good breakfast each morning so they could retain information at school. Too many Black Children, to this very day, go to school hungry because they cannot afford food in the morning. It has been proven that students do not learn as well when they are hungry. The Panthers were aware of this and wanted to ensure they had the opportunity to receive an adequate meal. As Huey said, “The Children always inherit the Revolution” so obviously they needed and still need to be invested in. They’ll never tell you about this but I’m not surprised. “I Do Not Expect The White Media to Show Positive Black Images.” Written By @KingKwajo
GOP Rep. Steve King calls out “illegal aliens” who just “invaded” his D.C. office.
Quite the invasion.
That’s what we call misrepresenting the situation.
Some people say that Republican Congressman Steve King is a goat-fucker. But I could be misrepresenting the situation.
